MARGO HALVERSON has been sole proprietor/designer of Halverson Design 1983 - 1998. She received her BFA and MFA from Arizona State University. Margo has been Art Director at Morgan & Company, Phoenix, Arizona and Designer at IBM, Boca Raton, Florida. She is Director of the Maine Summer Institute in Graphic Design and is Associate Professor in Graphic Design at Maine College of Art, currently acting Dean of Academic Affairs .

CHARLES MELCHER received his BFA in photography from Massachusetts College of Art, his MFA in graphic design from Yale University School of Art. He has exhibited his photography nationally and internationally and has taught graphic design at Yale and Maine College of Art. Charles has shot portraits for Yale University, Mohawk Paper, Fleet Bank, Allstate Financial and continues to do commercial and personal photography.

MARK JAMRA of Jamra Design since 1986, received his BFA in graphic design from Kent State University. Graduate studies were at The Basel School of Design in Switzerland. Mark is a graphic designer, type designer and Assistant Professor at Maine College of Art. Mark was type designer/consultant for Hewlett-Packard Research Laboratories in Bristol, England and URW Software & Type GmbH in Hamburg, Germany where he lived from 1984 - 1995. His typefaces include: Brynmorgen Greek, Kinesis, Expo Sans, Quelle Bold, Latienne and ITC Jamille.

PEGGY SMITH, Sr. Account Manager is a marketing and communications professional with 16+ years experience working for both client and agency businesses. She has worked on a variety of brands including American Express, Kraft Foods, Johnson & Johnson, Philip Morris, Scudder Funds, L.L. Bean and The Maine Office of Tourism. Throughout her career, Peggy has specialized in Direct Marketing and has particular expertise in the areas of customer acquisition and retention programs, continuity programs, loyalty marketing and database management.

CHRISTINE CORCORAN CANTWELL, principal of The Industrial Design Studio since 1980, is the designer of graphics, interiors, exhibitions, and furniture. Cantwell is currently an assistant professor on the faculty of The School of Architecture at the University of Texas at Austin where she teaches design, environmental technology, and writes about the Design Arts. She is an industrial design graduate of Pratt Institute, and Harvard University Graduate School of Design where she majored in Design History and Theory.
